Prenatal and Infant Loss

Therapy for individuals, couples, and families who have experienced fetal and infant loss

So many parents experience miscarriage, stillbirths, and early infant loss. The pain associated with these losses is significant, although sadly it is often misunderstood by well-meaning significant others, family, and friends. Miscarriages, stillbirths, and early infant losses are more common than most people think, and each comes with its own complexities.

If you have experienced any of these losses, you’ll want a therapist who gets it. You want to talk to someone who will not undervalue the significance of these losses and understands the complex effects these losses have on relationships. These losses can have a deeper feel when it has been difficult to conceive. It’s also important to know that birth-parents and non-birth parents can feel these losses differently and grieve differently.

As someone who has experienced prenatal loss, I want you to know that you are not alone. I want you to know that you and your relationship have a safe and knowledgeable place to process and grieve, as well as identify a new path forward.
